Fig & Almond Brioche Toast

  • 8 slices of Sliced Brioche Loaf
  • 4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 40 g (¼ cup) flaked almonds
  • 20 g (1½ tbsp) butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

For an extra touch of sweetness, lightly dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Directions

Toast the brioche slices in a pan with butter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides (about 2 minutes per side).

Meanwhile, lightly toast the flaked almonds in a dry pan until golden and fragrant.

Arrange the fig slices on the warm brioche toast.

Sprinkle the toasted flaked almonds over the figs.
